A Device gives a physical QR or NFC item a permanent identity. Your dashboard controls the destination, so the physical item can stay the same while your Page, event, campaign, or purpose changes.

Claim it securely
Physical products use a private one-time claim code, so scanning the public QR code is not enough to take ownership.
Change what it opens
Switch Pages without touching the physical product. With Pro, you can also schedule changes or send a Device to an approved external website.
Keep it useful
If a paid membership ends, a purchased Device still opens its basic destination on Free. The physical product does not become useless.
Virtual Devices
Use the same routing model even without buying hardware.
Virtual Devices let you create changeable destinations from the dashboard. Purchased or provisioned physical Devices do not count against the virtual-Device limit.
If a plan is downgraded while above its current virtual limit, existing Devices keep working; new virtual Devices can be created again once usage is back within the plan limit.

Use the Device model on whatever form factor fits.
Metal cards, standard cards, rings, signs, badges, stickers, keychains, and future formats can all connect to the same Profile and Pages.
